Stop Selling Features. Start Selling Who They Become.

Nobody buys a digital course because of the number of modules. Nobody buys a coaching program because of how many calls are included per month.

The spec sheet problem:

Most digital product sales pages read like instruction manuals — a list of what's included, how many lessons, what format, what bonuses. All of that information answers the question "what is this?" when the buyer is actually asking "what does this do for me and who does it make me?"

Features inform. Identity transformation sells. The moment you stop describing the container and start painting a picture of the person who emerges from it, the sales conversation changes completely.

What identity-based selling looks like:

Instead of "This course includes 6 modules covering content strategy, audience building, and monetization."

Try "This is for the creator who is done posting content that goes nowhere and ready to build an audience that actually buys, without spending years figuring it out alone."

Same product. Completely different conversation. One describes what it is. The other describes who it's for and what changes because of it.

How to find the identity transformation in your offer:

Ask yourself this: Who does my buyer become 90 days after going through this? Not what they know or have access to. Who do they become? More confident? Clearer on their direction? Finally taking consistent action after years of consuming without moving?

That answer is your real product. Lead with it.

Rewriting your positioning:

Take one piece of your current sales copy: a headline, a bullet point, an Instagram bio, and rewrite it to speak to the identity your buyer steps into rather than the feature they get access to. That single shift, applied consistently across your marketing, changes how your offer lands and who it attracts.
